Bystander First Aid Training Course

Course Description

Our Bystander First Aid Training sessions are tailored to suit any organisation with a recommended timeframe per session of 2 – 2.5 hours with ideally a maximum of 12 persons per course.

Generally based on the NZ Resus Council guidelines, DRSABCD is the main focus for bystander first aid, with these courses tailored to those guidelines within the time frame of the 2-2.5 hour session.

This includes sufficient time for hands on aspects of the course within the focus of DRSABCD / CPR / and Defibrillator training along with questions and answers of our trained facilitators.

The sessions are made up of around 45 mins of didactic training and the rest of the time taken up with participants doing hands-on simulated/training in a relaxed environment with our latest CPR & defibrillator training devices, interacting with our facilitators, and asking & answering of questions. The training courses are fluid, and dependent on the skill level of participants and how quickly they pick everything up, our facilitators run each session to suit.

Within the didactic training, this is also the opportunity for discussion, concerns, and correction of any misinformation from the participants, with further opportunity to ask questions and seek clarity during the hands-on activities.

Minimum of 10 team members per session.
